Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a specialized form of physiotherapy that specifically treats functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. In our practice in Baden, we use precise manual techniques to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore natural movement patterns.

The focus is on passive mobilization techniques for joints, muscles, and soft tissues. These are individually tailored to your specific complaints and are particularly suitable for limitations following an accident, chronic back pain, or functional joint problems. Manual therapy is also a key component of sports physiotherapy, used to treat overuse injuries and accelerate recovery.

Through targeted manipulation techniques, blocked or restricted joints are mobilized, muscular tension is released, and the interplay between nerves, muscles, and joints is improved. The goal is not only short-term pain relief but also a lasting improvement in your movement quality in everyday life and sports.

Manual therapy is particularly suitable for:

  • Back and neck pain

  • Joint dysfunctions of the shoulder, hip, knee or ankle

  • Complaints after accident or surgery

  • Muscle tension and restricted movement

  • Sports-related overuse injuries as part of sports physiotherapy

In our physiotherapy practice in Baden, we combine manual techniques with active therapy to achieve long-term success and prevent relapses.
